Gizet is a Cyprus-based flooring contractor and surface engineering company established in 1979. For over 46 years, we have designed and installed high-performance flooring and road marking systems for institutions, corporations, and private clients across the island.
We are an authorised applicator and exclusive distributor for three internationally recognised brands: SATA (industrial spray equipment, Germany), Diasen (surface treatment systems, Italy), and Geveko Markings (road marking systems, Europe).

Founded in 1979, Gizet has grown from a specialist contractor into a trusted name in Cyprus for road marking, monolithic flooring, and industrial consumables. Over the years, we’ve formed exclusive partnerships with leading international brands like SATA, Diasen, and Geveko Markings, expanding our capabilities while staying true to our commitment to quality.
Our History
1979 — Founded in Nicosia, Cyprus
Gizet was established in Nicosia in response to growing demand for quality surface finishing and water infrastructure equipment. From the outset, the company focused on combining technical precision with hands-on application expertise.

For over 30 years, GiZet has been at the forefront of Cyprus’s road marking and flooring industry, combining engineering, integrity, and craftsmanship to deliver exceptional results. What began as road‑marking, painting, and epoxy flooring in the 1990s has evolved into a comprehensive suite of high‑performance solutions—UniTerra® mosaic floor, resinous and decorative flooring, safety surfaces, and more—that architects, designers, and contractors rely upon.
1990s — Road Marking and Epoxy Flooring
During the 1990s, Gizet became recognised for its road marking work on public infrastructure across Cyprus and for epoxy floor installations in industrial and commercial settings. Reliability on large-scale public contracts established the company's reputation with government bodies and major contractors.
2000s onwards — Expansion into Resinous Architecture
Following the growth of the architectural interiors market, Gizet expanded its product range to include resinous decorative flooring and exclusive international partnerships. The company introduced UniTerra — a contemporary mosaic terrazzo system — and scaled its installation capabilities for high-specification residential and institutional projects.

Today
Gizet operates from Latsia, Nicosia, serving clients across Cyprus. The company's portfolio spans university buildings, corporate headquarters, sports facilities, municipal infrastructure, and residential developments. Key projects include the University of Cyprus Library, 3CX Headquarters, and the first FIFA-certified football field in Cyprus.
Our Roots
Founded in 1982, GiZet emerged in response to a growing demand for water pumps, quality finishing equipment in the automotive and furnishing industry. In the 2000s, Gizet’s reliability on public‑works road markings, industrial flooring, and specialized epoxy coatings was known. As from the 2000s, following the market, GiZet scaled up both in technical capability and in scope, expanding its products into resinous architectural flooring.

Gizet's installation teams are trained on-site and supported by manufacturer technical representatives. We apply strict quality control at every stage — from substrate preparation and moisture testing to layer application and final curing. We do not subcontract installation work.
Exclusive Partnerships
As the authorised Cypriot distributor for SATA, Diasen, and Geveko Markings, Gizet provides access to materials and equipment that are not available through standard local suppliers. These partnerships also give our clients access to manufacturer warranties and technical documentation.
Customer Collaboration
We work directly with architects, specifiers, and contractors during the design phase — not just at installation. This means the right product is specified from the start, reducing costly changes and ensuring the final surface meets both aesthetic and functional requirements.
Sustainability
Gizet prioritises low-VOC and environmentally responsible products where available, including UniGreen — a safety surface system designed with environmental responsibility as a core design criterion. We source materials from European manufacturers who comply with REACH and CE marking requirements.

Andreas has managed Gizet's commercial flooring division since 2008, overseeing installations in over 50 major projects across Cyprus. He holds a civil engineering degree from the University of Cyprus and leads all client-facing specification work.
