Hilton Nicosia
A high-performance parking solution using UniPoxySkid_AD, designed to deliver durability, safety, and precise surface performance within a complex underground structure.
Architectural Upgrade
Originally designed in the late 1960s, the Hilton Nicosia underwent a comprehensive upgrade by E. Papachristou Architects, preserving the integrity of the existing structure while enhancing its operational capacity.
As part of this transformation, new underground parking facilities were introduced to support the building’s modern requirements.

Structural Challenge & System Selection
Two basement levels, each approximately 7,000m², were constructed directly on the structural slab without the use of additional screed layers.
This condition required the final flooring system to achieve precise surface levelling while ensuring durability under continuous vehicular traffic, safe pedestrian movement, and long-term performance.
To meet these demands, UniPoxySkid_AD was selected as the most suitable solution.
UniPoxySkid_AD Application
A custom-designed UniPoxySkid_AD system was applied across 14,000m², built up in five layers to provide the necessary levelling, mechanical resistance, and slip performance.
The space was further organised through a coordinated marking strategy using five distinct colours to define pedestrian and bicycle paths, accessible parking, charging stations, general parking areas, and traffic circulation.
The result is a high-performance parking environment that supports operational efficiency, safety, and long-term durability.
